Grandville couple surprised by Oprah Winfrey

This is my parents yesterday on the local news being interviewed for winning their trip to Australia.

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - 25 years ago Larry and Terri Edema had a storybook wedding, book being the keyword, because the wedding video got deleted.

Terri deleted the video when she taped over it with an episode of the Oprah show. Her husband never let her live it down.

Recently, the curse was lifted when they got tickets to an Oprah taping. It ends up the episode was actually the first show of the final episode where the each member of the audience won a trip to Australia.
The couple was hand picked with the entire audience because of their story. Now Terri's husband Larry is officially a fan of Winfrey's.
